Joan had two retirement parties. The first, a dinner, was for all 65 retirees this year. It was a jolly time and it was really a treat to see the hoards who have appreciated Joan's work over the past 15 years. The second was an afternoon reception in Louisville in which Mary and Annie (and Atticus) joined. It was a smaller venue for the group that worked in the Literacy department.
