Here is our old boat, Angelita and 8 meter. It was made for the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles and it was said that it won. We bought it from Owen Churchill in the early 1960's. We sold it a few years later. It was moved north to Sausalito where it rotted. In the early 1980's it was rebuilt for the 1984 Olympics as a show piece. I found an article about it. Then it dropped out of sight. I googled it a few days ago and found it was owned by a Samuel W Croll. I contacted him and he was good enough to send me a few pictures of it and updated me. It was rebuilt in 1997 and he has had a very successful sailing career with it as of late.
