Great Falls Va,

Great Falls Park At Great Falls, the Potomac River builds up speed and force as it falls over a series of steep, jagged rocks and flows through the narrow Mather Gorge. We enjoyed the 15 mile trip on a Sunday with Chuck and Andrea. Here are a few pictures from the park

30 Years ago.

Egad, 30 years age we moved into student housing, into this apartment on the bottom. The trees were just planted.

Personality Change

He is now walking and for Atticus, it is a leap into a new sense of person hood. He is mobile, less dependent and more assertive. Nice move.

Owl Cameras

We have been watching owl cameras. In Boulder, the Xcel power plant has an owl nest with a web cam installed. Take a look at our Great Horned Owls.

Wagner

Yesterday, Joan and Jim attended a live Met Opera presentation of Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde. It was sublime. Joan and I couldn’t believe we spent 5 ½ hours seated. We cannot wait for another Wagner.

At Loveland Ski Area, we fell upon this old guy who had a punk rock hair do. Some people have no shame.

Today, my work partner David and I went to Loveland Ski area and tried our luck on the slopes. I tired fast. But nevertheless we had a good day.
